Priority values and colors
I think that there no need to implement too many features, it will be better if you keep it simple. So I think that the very important features to add are:
- Priority levels
- Deadline (date)
and that's all! Other functions could be useless.

Isn't priority levels just the way you have the items ordered?
For deadline: do you want the deadline to affect the sort order, or just want it to be indicted?
